Memorial service for Tammy will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2:00 PM at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Dassel, MN. Time of gather will begin at 12:00 also at church.
Tammy Lou Lueders was born October 18, 1961in New Ulm,
Minnesota to Dennis and Bonnie Havemeier.
She attended parochial school in
Green Isle, MN and graduated
with the class of 1980 from Arlington
High School.
Following high school, Tammy worked in Arlington
at a facility for the mentally handicapped.
Then took a position in Victoria, Minnesota
at another home for the mentally handicapped.
She then worked in Buffalo, Minnesota
at an adult day care facility for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. After that she was the manager of an assisted
living facility in Buffalo, called
Kensington Cottages. After that she went
to Econo foods pharmacy in Litchfield, then to Staples Chiropractic in Cokato
and was currently employed at Nesseth chiropractic in Cokato.
On July 13, Bret Lueders asked Tammy’s father if he could
propose to her, he agreed and the couple were married November 25, 1988 in Arlington. Bret and Tammy have made their home in Dassel
ever since. The couple has been blessed
with three boys.
Cooking, gardening, landscaping flowers, collecting rocks
and scrap booking were hobbies Tammy enjoyed.
Spending time with family and attending their boys events have always
been the most important thing in Tammy’s life.
Tammy was a member of Gethsemane
Lutheran Church
in Dassel and served in the youth program and Sunday School.
Tammy was taken from us at the Sanford
Medical Center
in Fargo following an accident on August 2, 2011 between Detroit
Lakes and Park Rapids she was 49
years old.
Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Bret; three sons,
Tyler, Garret and Pierce; her mother, Bonnie Havemeier of Cokato and sister,
Connie (Dave) Huber of Le Seuer, MN.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Havemeier,
and grandparents, Elmer and Eleanor Guetzko and Paul & Mary Havemeier.
