Lennie Jeffrey Anderson suddenly passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the age of 53 years.
A lifelong resident of Knapp Minnesota, Lennie graduated from Dassel Cokato High School. Shortly after graduation he began working for the Lantto brothers in French Lake assisting in their dairy operation. In addition he worked as a crop farmer on the Anderson homestead. Throughout the years, to supplement his income, he enjoyed working at various Cokato Businesses including Cenex, Holt Motors, and Flatout Tire Service. He acquired the family farm upon the death of his parents and expanded the operation.
Lennie served on the Cemetery Board at North Crow Lutheran Church.
In his spare time Lennie enjoyed being outdoors, riding his 4-wheeler, cutting wood, and occasionally hunting and fishing. He particularly loved spending time with close friends.
Lennie was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Virginia Anderson. He is survived by his four brothers: Elroy (Roxann), Bradley (Mary), Larry (Bev), Mike (Kara), many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the North Crow River Lutheran Church in Knapp, MN, with visitation Sunday, March 4 from 4-8 PM and continuing 1 hour prior to services, all at the church. Arrangements by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home of Cokato.
