Louise Ann Peterson was born in Dassel,
Minnesota on July 30, 1929, to August and Annie (Sherwin)
Soderberg. She grew up in Dassel and
graduated from Dassel High
School in 1948.
After school she helped at home and worked for a time at 3M in Hutchinson.
On March 10, 1951
Louise married Dale Peterson at Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Dassel. They farmed south of Cokato for 40 years and in 1991 moved to Pillager.
Louise enjoyed bowling, traveling, and she was very active
in her church, Stockholm Lutheran. She
was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a Cub Scout leader. Most important was her family.
Louise passed away at the Dassel Lakeside Nursing Home on January 7, 2013. She had reached the age of 83 years, 5 months
and 7 days.
Survivors include her children: Steven of Cokato, Vicki
(Mike) Jurek of Sartell, Mark (Debbie) Peterson of Cokato, Michael (JoAnn)
Peterson of Cokato, Mitchell (Kelly) Peterson of Sartell. Brother Robert (Jane) Soderberg of Minneapolis,
Brother-in-law Warren Servin of
Dassel, and Sister-in-law Fern Glessing of Cokato.
Surviving grandchildren are: Sarah Kisner, Stacy Rotzien,
Rachel Bellamy, Nicole Thiel, Dan Jurek, Taylor Limbeck, Kelly Peterson, Kelsey
Rutland, Sarah Roggatz, Zachary Peterson, and Rebecca Peterson. She also had 17 great grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by: her parents August and Anne
Soderberg, husband Dale, granddaughter Kari, and her brothers and sisters:
Earl, Arlene, Myrtle, Millie, Vernal, Carl, Wilton,
Lloyd, Roy, Rodney and Elsie.
