DeMarais,Cherry K., age 65 of Howard Lake, passed away on June 9, 2013 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. She was born on June 25, 1947 to Clement and Gladys Hickman in Parkston, South Dakota.
In her younger years, Cherry enjoyed snowmobiling, ice skating, fishing, and camping. Later in her life she was an active member of the VFW auxillary. She also enjoyed writing songs and poetry. Cherry enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Shelly, and infant son, John Clem.
Survived by her son, Dennis, daughter Janelle, and son, Greg.
A celebration of Cherry’s life will be held at 11:oo am on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake.
Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home
