Lillie Ann Hass, was born on March 3, 1937 in Shawano, Wisconsin
to Elmer and Lillie (Hoppe) Hoffman. She
grew up in Shawano and graduated from High School there.
On July 3, 1955
Lillie was united in marriage to Arthur Fredrick Hass at Elias Lutheran church
of Shawano. This marriage was blessed with four
children. Lillie worked at several
things during her life: for a time she owned the Little Chef Restaurant in Gresham,
Wisconsin, she owned a bar in Wisconsin,
and cooked at the Happy Corners German restaurant in Gresham,
and most recently was a seamstress at Edco in Winsted.
Hobbies included: sewing, cooking, bird watching and her
plants.
In 1997 Arthur and Lillie made their home in Howard Lake,
Minnesota. She passed away at the St.
Mary’s Care Center of Winsted on December
21, 2011, at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 18 days.
Lillie is survived by her children: Dennis Hass of Tigerton Wisconsin,
Duane Hass of Montrose, Denise Oberpriller of Howard
Lake and Todd Hass of Kerrville,
Texas. Nine grandchildren, 8
great-grandchildren. Sisters Velda and Dawn, and brother Elmer Jr.
A memorial service was held on December 26 2011 at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home of
Howard Lake. Interment will be at Red
Springs Cemetery
in Wisconsin.
