Tim passed away 3/16/2013 as the result of an auto accident East of Kingston
Funeral Service 11 AM Friday, March 22, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Cokato
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home of Cokato and 1hr prior to services on Friday at Church
Prayer Service 7:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home
Interment: Cokato Finnish Cemetery
Timothy Alan Keskey, was born on April 15, 1960 in Minneapolis,
Minnesota to Melvin and Joanne (Hanson)
Keskey. When Tim was 9 the family moved
to the family farm in Cokato. He
attended Temperance Corner
School and graduated in 1978 from Dassel-Cokato
High School. After High School he attended Minneapolis
Community College graduating with
and Associates Degree.
“Timbo” lived and worked for a time in Arizona
as a landscaper. He came home and worked
for uncle Clifford Keskey and later Design and Fabricating of Cokato. Most recently Ag Systems of Hutchinson.
Timothy enjoyed: swimming, fishing, canoeing, camping,
shooting, motorcycling and 4 wheeling.
He enjoyed cooking and eating and loved to sauna. He liked to visit with friends and relatives,
was very active in his church St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran of Darwin, and
did missionary work at the county jail.
He enjoyed a good deal at the swap meet or thrift store.
Tim passed away in an auto accident on March16, 2013, East
of Kingston, Minnesota. He had reached
the age of 52 years, 11 months and 1 day.
Survivors include: father Melvin of Cokato, Sisters: Rebecca
(Barry) Gustafson of Cokato, and Mary (Steve) Torola of Cokato, and brother
Erick (Amy) Keskey of Cokato. Nieces and
Nephews: Emily, Andrew, Hailey, Hannah, Dustin, Nathan, Nicole, Daven, Danielle
and Dustin.
Tim is preceded in death by his
mother, Joanne.
