It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Ann Nygaard, who departed this life on June 23, 2024. Her departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
Carolyn Ann Nygaard shared a life filled with love, dedication, and countless memories. Her bond was a testament to her unwavering commitment to each person and their family. She created a warm and welcoming home, always open to friends and family. Decorating her home for the holidays was something she was very gifted at.
Carolyn will be remembered for her compassion, creativity, and her ability to bring joy to all those around her. She will be cherished for her wisdom, strength, and her unwavering support for those she loved Her life is a beacon of love and kindness, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her.
Carolyn leaves behind a loving family, including her children Eric Nygaard of Hector, Kimberly Grob and her husband Justin of Silver Lake, Tammy Nygaard of Arlington.
Grandchildren: Eric’s children Bricen, Logan, and Preston Kimberly’s children Brennen (Adrienne Hill-Preive), Seth, Breah. Tammy’s children Cassandra (Dylan), Carson, and Stephan.
Great grandchildren: Isla and Everlynn.
Siblings: Dennis Schultz, LouAnn Kulberg (Dave), Bill Schultz (Karen), Oliver Schultz (Diane).
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Nygaard, and her parents Ermand and Beverly Schultz, along with several other family and friends.
We will cherish her memories and uphold her values.
A joint memorial lakeside service will be held on June 30th, at her daughter Kimberly’s home at 20225 Jubilee Drive, Silver Lake, MN 55381 at 2 pm.
Carolyn will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her love and legacy will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
