Stan met Karen Ergen at JJs in Annandale while he was filling in as guitar player for Country Junction, and was married Nov 29, 1980. Together the couple had two daughters and as he would say was blessed with three more, they raised at the family farm in Howard Lake, MN. Stan loved music especially classic country. He loved going out and singing Karaoke at the local bars and socializing with friends. He loved being outside at the farm and with his favorite companion Gus, the Springer Spaniel. But the thing he loved most was his children and grandchildren. He was always there to lend an ear, give advice, or make you laugh. There are not enough words to express what a great man he was, he was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Stan is survived by his 5 children: Crystal (Gulso) Collier, Heidi Gulso, Rebecca Mosher, Laura (Mosher) Menk, and Christina Mosher; 14 grandchildren: Alexis Collier, Hannah Collier, Malayna Johnson, Kylie Dahlin, Braxton Gulso, Fisher Laplant, Kinzlie Laplant, Courtney (Smith) Anderson, Bradley Smith, Katelyn Wren, Hunter Wren, Ashley Menk, Cieara Menk, Karissa Menk, and Logan Reyes; 3 great-grandchildren.
