Judith Ann Carlock , age 78 died on Thursday July 23, 2020 in The Gardens Of Cannon Falls a caring and loving community. She was born in Cokato Mn to Herbert and Doreen (Johnson) Ojanpera the oldest of four children. Graduated from Cokato High School Class of 1959 Judith was preceded in death husband David Carlock , parents, brother Charles and sister Janet. Judith will be remembered for her dedication as a mother and caregiver to her daughter Jacqueline. Survived by her daughter, Jacqueline, son, Todd Carlock, and sister, Mary Conzet. A graveside service will take place at 11 AM on Sat. Pekka Tapani Marjanen, passed away a his home in Litchfield on July 17, 2020

Pekka Tapani Marjanen was born to Karl Edward Marjanen and Martta Marjanen nee Forssell on April 13, 1928 in Jyvaskyla Finland.
He was united in marriage to Laina Tiainen on September 30, 1950. They were blessed with 68 years together. Pekka and Laina had 5 children: Juha, Tarja, Heini, Riitta and Jari.
They spent their early years in Finland before moving to the United States. They lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Arizona and Minnesota.
Pekka enjoyed fishing, visiting and traveling. Children were especially special to him. His greatest joy was that his children were preciously believing.
He worked as a postmaster in Finland. In the United States he worked in sheet metal, plumbing and carpentry.
Leina went to her heavenly home on September 4, 2018.
Pekka was joined in marriage to Dagmar Siltala nee Nevala on May 1, 2019. She brought much joy to his life. They enjoyed taking saunas and visiting with friends. They resided together in Sebeka, MN.
God took Pekka home on July 17, 2020.
He is survived by his wife; Dagmar, Siblings, Ilkka Marjanen, Sirkka Marjanen, and Vieno Marjanen, Children: Juha (Annette) Marjanen, Tarja (Joe) Brown, Heini Aho, Riitta Wuollet, and Jari (Anita) Marjanen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Walter, Margaret “Peggy” 70

Margaret ‘Peggy’ Walter, 70, died peacefully in her home in Annandale, MN on July 9, 2020. Peggy was born on January 14, 1950 to Wallace and Jeanne Walter in Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents and her big brother Jerry. She is survived by her three daughters: Ann (Jeff), Julie and Melissa (John); six grandchildren: Riley, Ellie, Maximilian, Sarah, Rebecca and Rachel; siblings: Thomas (Roger), Jennifer (Scott), and many nieces and nephews.
In light of current COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Peggy’s life will be planned for a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Rockford Baptist Church, 8800 Elm Street, Rockford, MN 55373.

Boucher, John Andrew 65

John Boucher passed on July 13th, 2020 at the age of 65. John is survived by his children: Brian (Carrie) Boucher, Amanda (Ramadan) Hussein and Christina (Max) Boucher ; his grandchildren John, Patrick, David, Mary, Rami and Farrah; sister, Jeanne (Jack) Jungbauer; and Barb Boucher. He is preceded in death by his grandson Max; Father Donald and Mother Dorothy. John was born on January 5th, 1955. He graduated from Totino Grace high school in 1973. He earned mechanics degree at Dunwoody Institute. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Metro Transit for over 30 years. His favorite past time was fixing up cars and drag racing for sport. He had a funny sense of humor and made people around him laugh. Hagen, Donald Duane 88

Hagen, Donald Duane
Age 88, of Howard Lake passed away July 7, 2020 at The Lodge in Howard Lake, Minnesota. He was born on May 21, 1932 on the Dawson farm in Union County near Alcester, South Dakota to Noble and Marie (Henderson) Hagen. Don was baptized on June 26, 1932 and confirmed May 24, 1947 at Nathanael Evangelical Lutheran Church. His family moved to Bishop, California in 1938 and returned to farm near Hudson, SD in 1943. Don attended West Branch District #20 country school in Lincoln County, SD.

Don graduated from Hudson High School in 1952. He joined the Air Force and volunteered for overseas duty. He trained in Texas and Illinois and was sent to Japan as part of the 48th Air Rescue Squadron in support of the Korean War. Following his service Don moved to Minneapolis, MN and attended the Dunwoody Institute. He worked for the City of Minneapolis as a maintenance worker. He continued in that position for 31 years.

On August 8, 1970, Don was united in marriage to Joyce Peterson at Lyndale Lutheran Church in Maple Plain, MN. They moved to a hobby farm near Watertown, MN where they farmed and raised their daughters. In retirement Don and Joyce moved to Howard Lake, MN. They spent many winters in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Don was an active member of Lyndale Lutheran Church and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Howard Lake, MN.

Don loved to travel. He spent his vacation time driving his family across much of the United States visiting family members and seeing various sights. In retirement he and Joyce traveled to Hawaii and Alaska as well as Europe. He enjoyed the scenery, history, and meeting new people everywhere he went. He also liked to fish. He ice fished on Leech Lake in the winter and fished various lakes and the Missouri River in the summer.

Survived by daughters Felicia Croy of Chatsworth, GA, Wendy Bittner of Breezy Point, MN, Roxanne (Shane) Ruffenach of Wilmot, SD, Misty Hagen of Jordan, MN, grandchildren Samantha Bittner, Britta Bittner, Isaac Ruffenach, Amanda Ruffenach, Jonah Ruffenach, Lucy Herrera, sisters Charlotte Stowman of Vadnais Heights, MN, Janice Kruse of Lakewood, CA, brother Stanley Hagen of Alexandria, MN.

Preceded in death by wife Joyce Hagen and his parents.
