Marilyn S. Sutter (Constenius), age 81, died peacefully August 4, 2024. Marilyn was born on June 22, 1943, in Floodwood, MN, to William and Ailie (Alapeteri) Constenius and later moved to Cokato and then to St. Paul, MN. Marilyn was a caring mother, a good friend to many, and an artist whose talents were passed down to some of her children and grandchildren. While she faced many challenges in life, Marilyn persevered with resilience and a sense of humor.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her father, William, her mother, Ailie, and her brothers, Gary, Ken, and Jim, and sister, Dorothy. Marilyn is survived by her brothers, William and Paul; her children, Byron, Ken, Eileen, Vicki, and Mary; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Genevieve, Elijah, Grace, Samantha, and Malaki.
Marilyn’s family is grateful to Suite Living Senior Care, Roseville, MN, residents and staff who took such great care of her in her final years.
An intimate graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Finnish Cemetery in Cokato, MN.
